As a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa's marketing program I have created ZPage Entertainment as an excuse to play games, watch TV and movies, and gain experience in content creation, writing and website design along the way. Started out as ZPage Gaming, and realized there's more that I want to spend my time on than only games.
What games, TV and movies mean to me:
I honestly don't remember a time in my life when I didn't play video games. From playing the SNES and N64 with my brother and dad, to now playing PS4 online most nights after work, gaming has always been a huge part of my life. Some of my favorites include Super Mario World, Halo 3, and Horizon Zero Dawn.
I don't think I realized what movies really meant to me until the last few years. Every year I would watch the Oscars and bet on the winners with my family, but usually wouldn't really know the movies or care to watch the winners. Something clicked in me recently, and I now need to watch any of the movies deemed to be the best. With that said, I'm no movie snob. I'm a huge fan of Seth Rogen comedies, superhero movies, and have often been told that I like bad movies, so take my recommendations with a grain of salt. A few favorites include the Lord of the Rings trilogy (Fellowship is the best in the series), Pineapple Express, The Departed, and The Lion King.
TV is constantly changing in today's world. When I was growing up, if I wasn't on the couch and ready by 8PM, I wouldn't get to see the start of Survivor. Today I'm a subscriber to Netflix, Crave, have cable with a PVR and could not be more excited for Disney+. I couldn't even begin to explain what type of shows I'm drawn to, because honestly it's a huge mixed bag, but here's a couple of my favorites: Sons of Anarchy, Friends, House, and Prison Break.
